Welcome to the Devised Performance Laboratory!

We are seeking devisers and those interested in devising to create a new theatrical work together. 

The Devised Theatre Laboratory in Region 8 welcomes ALL students interested in exploring collaborative creation. Whether you are an experienced deviser or interested in learning about this process-oriented way of working, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

The 2024 Devised Performance program will be held in-person this year. 

8-10 students may join the Devised Theatre Ensemble (DTE) formed at festival. Together with program director/KCACTF coordinators Nathan Singh & Rodney Lloyed Scott, the ensemble will create an original piece which will be presented at the showcase, time/date TBA.

 How can we use theatre to explore the many ways technology has become a major part of our lives? 

Schedule & Important Dates: 

Tuesday, Feb 13th - Saturday, Feb 17, 2024, each day will be a workshop to build a new theatrical piece together. 

Fri, Feb 16 or Sat, Feb 17 will be the presentation of the the new work created for the festival (details TBA)
