Model Call Application |                                  Dogs of the Cedar Valley
Inspired by Humans of New York, Nose Art Studios knows every dog has a story and we want to tell it!

Dogs invited to participate in the model call will be scheduled for their sessions throughout the year. Currently this model call offer will be extended to 10 dogs.

MODEL CALL REQUIREMENTS
1.  Dogs must reside in Waterloo or Cedar Falls. (This area may expand as the model call progresses.)
2.  Dogs need to know basic obedience such as sit, down, stay. (Dogs will remain leashed for their sessions.)
3.  Owners must be willing to travel to locations in the Cedar Valley.
4.  Owners should be ready to narrate for their pup!

Participants will receive one complimentary 5x7 image of their choice. They will also receive a low resolution watermarked social media file of the showcased image.

With the help of their owners, dogs may be asked to complete a separate questionnaire once they are invited to participate in the project. Dogs chosen for the project will also be asked to sign a model release to permit Nose Art Studios to use the images on social media, for marketing, etc.

If you are interested in being chosen as a model for this project, please complete the questionnaire below!

Charli | Cedar Falls
Charli currently lives in Cedar Falls and is the first dog to participate in this project! Charli likes to visit the campus of the University of Northern Iowa with her mom so that's where we ended up for her photo session.
What is your (owner) name?
What street do you live on and in what city?
This is to ensure that only those who meet the requirements for this project are participating.
E-Mail Address
This will be the primary mode of communication initially so it should be one that you're checking frequently.
What is your dog's name?
Does your dog have any nicknames? Or rather, how many nicknames does your dog have?
How old is your dog?
Please include a birthday or adoption day if you know it. :)
How long have you had your dog?
What breed is your dog?
If the breed has multiple accepted markings, please describe the markings. For example, German Shepherd Dogs can be black and tan, sable, fawn, etc. If you have a guesstimate of the breed and a description, let me know! (We have a "purebred" German Cattle Boxador.)
Where did you get your dog from?
Does your dog have any special medical concerns?
I sometimes use flash during my sessions and dogs with certain conditions can be sensitive to this.
Is your dog skittish or reactive with strangers or strange objects in his or her environment?
Please note if your dog has ever bit someone and the circumstances surrounding the bite. It does not automatically disqualify your dog! Dog bites are most often preventable and I want to make sure that your dog is as comfortable as possible during the interview and photo session.
Tell me about your dog!
Tell me it all, but highlight anything you think makes your pup unique.
Are there any locations around the Cedar Valley that mean something to you and your dog?
Do you walk a certain route every day? Does your dog like to go to Starbucks or run errands with you? Photo sessions will attempt to incorporate meaningful locations, if possible.
Would you be interested in purchasing additional prints or digital files?
Participation is absolutely without cost to you! If you choose to do so, you may request to proof the images from the session and purchase additional prints or digital images, but it is definitely not expected!
