Funded by the European Social Fund and Education & Skills Funding Agency, the Digital Skills for Life programme is Free for jobs seekers; those who are unemployed and economically inactive, creating career pathway opportunities for you to progress onto Further Education, return to Employment or become Self Employed; start a business after programme completion.

The programme runs for 6-weeks
• 1-Week Practical Workshop
+ One-to-One Career Development Session (1hr Online) Based on the information you provide; we will devise a tailored Career Development plan with resources and tools outlining the steps you action over the next 5 weeks to pursue your goals based on your skills
• 5 Week Progression Support: Continuous weekly advice & resources to optimise your achievements. (Online & Telephone)

Practical Workshop
Workshops will provide you with more advanced skills & knowledge pertaining to specific areas of digital work & business, this strengthening employability, which is required to meet the needs of employers, educators or to start your own business.
Workshops are practical class based, up to 8 participants and tailored to meet the needs, learning level beginners/ intermediate. The method of delivery is through computers using digital tools collaborative and exploratory, covering crucial aspects of digital skill development, you will be introduced to specific digital skills, explained, demonstrated, and then have the chance to practice the techniques and skills that are under discussion. At the end of the workshop you be complete a self-evaluation form.

Career Development Plan  
Our goal is to help you to explore where you are in your career, where you want to go, and how you might get there. We will support you in taking action to move toward your goal.
This is where you set your future goals and strategies for achieving those goals for progression in your chosen career.  It is especially important here to think about your current skills, abilities, and education as this will indicate existing qualifications, along with the areas that need to be improved upon.

5 Week Progression Support
We will continue to provide you with Professional Development sharing knowledge and experience, on a weekly basis throughout your 5-week progression via email and telephone.  At the end of the 6 weeks programme we will complete a progression form which is your destination into further education, employment, or self-employment.

Enrolment Process:
1. Complete Eligibility Form (this form)
2. Complete Initial Assessment form (will be sent to you once Eligibility is confirmed)
3. Book your Enrolment (we will email you to book once Eligibility Form & Initial Assessment has been completed)
4. Verify Documents and Identification (We will send after your enrolment)

Eligibility Criteria
You will be asked to provide evidence for identity and your right to remain and work in the UK.

1. Live in Greenwich or Bexley
2. Must have the right to live and work in the UK
3. 16+ are eligible for this programme
4. You must be Economically Inactive or Unemployed
5. You must not have taken part in an ESFA-funded project covering the same activities or courses before
