As early as 6 months, children begin noticing race. By ages 2 to 4, children begin internalizing racial bias. Before even bar/bat mitzvah age (by 12), they become set in their beliefs.

All that happens whether we talk about race or not. So how do we talk with our children about race? How do we prepare the littles in our lives to work toward racial justice? To be upstanders recognizing and challenging racism in their every day lives?
