Google Meet Usage Agreement
Please review this form. By completing the form fields at the bottom, you are affirming that your student will adhere to the rules and responsibilities for the appropriate use of Google Meet and/or Google Hangouts. Completion of this form is necessary to participate in school-sponsored Google Meet/Hangout sessions. Failure to abide by the rules and responsibilities outlined here will result in a loss of access to this technology through the Stafford County Public Schools domain.

Please remember that you are joining a virtual classroom setting. Be respectful of others and demonstrate school-appropriate behavior. Also, please adhere to the following:
 
Test technology before the meeting and resolve any technical issues.

Mute your microphone and turn off your camera prior to the meeting and/or when directed by the teacher.

When possible, to cut down on audio feedback, use headphones or earbuds.
 
Please be attentive to the content.
 
Refrain from multitasking.
 
Find a quiet place to watch/participate in the meeting.  This space should be distraction-free.
 
Ask questions using the Chat feature.

Use the chat feature appropriately. No inappropriate statements or comments
 
Always check your background and attire before turning on the camera.
 
Follow other guidelines by your presenter.

Do not post the Meet link in a public forum such as social media.

Students should not use Google Meet at times other than scheduled by the teacher

If you are using the present feature of your screen, be aware of what is on your screen and will be projected to the group. Make sure it is appropriate for the whole audience.
