We are excited to have you join the Learn Reading Tutor Match program! Joining the Tutor Match program does not guarantee students; however, we will do our best to help you fill your tutoring time slots!
When you tutor a student from the Learn Reading Tutor Match program, you will be working as an independent contractor, not an employee of Learn Reading.
You will receive $160 every month as long as the client continues payment. The client's payment is averaged out over a 12-month period and does not fluctuate. This averaged payment covers all US federal holidays, 2 days for Thanksgiving break, 1 week for Christmas and Easter break and 10 sick/vacation days per year for the tutor, when there will be no tutoring.
The student is free to cancel when needed, however there are no makeup classes, refunds or partial payments for missed classes. The client is free to stop tutoring at any time and will not be responsible for future tutoring sessions.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When you have been matched, you will be notified by Tania. It is imperative that you reach out the parent within 2 business days with your Zoom link and instructions to begin. It is recommended that tutoring their new student starts within a couple of days of being matched.
