Help us decide on a logo for our 'Rainbow Social' programs
The Cook Street Village Activity Centre (CSVAC) is conducting a short poll to help us decide on a logo for our LGBTQIA2S+ programs.

We would be very appreciative of your time in giving us some feedback with this short poll. If you are interested - there are optional questions you could answer to help us with programming for the Rainbow Social, as well as the option for you to stay informed about Rainbow Social activities through our email list. Voting ends April 30.

Indigenous, Two-Spirit & Indigiqueer considerations
We would like to acknowledge the traditional, unceded Land of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, the Lkwungen speaking people. We at Cook Street Village Activity Centre extend our appreciation for the opportunity to live and learn on their Land.

We also want to communicate our desire to explore and support the wants and needs of our Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer communities without imposing our settler colonial bias. We have reserved space for inclusion of Two-Spirit/IndigiQueer voices in our Rainbow Social Advisory Committee and look forward to guidance and suggestions on how to best serve our Indigenous communities.

Diversity & Inclusion
For the purposes of this project 'Rainbow' represents the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Non-Binary, Intersex, Asexual and other existing and emerging sexual and gender minority communities, orientations and identities.

The 'Intersex-Inclusive Progress Pride Flag' colours we utilize in the following Rainbow Social logo designs represent different parts of the LGBTQIA2S+ community: red symbolizes sex & life, orange stands for healing, yellow equals sunlight, green stands for nature, blue represents magic, art, and serenity, violet symbolizes the spirit of LGBTQ+ people, black and brown symbolize Communities of Colour and their contribution to the movement, black is also a nod to the thousands of individuals that the community lost during the HIV/AIDS crisis in 1980s and 1990s, white, pink, and light blue represent the Trans community and yellow and purple represent Intersex people.
