LunaNet University Day
NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center is hosting a LunaNet University Day on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, to enable University and College Proposers planning to respond to the Space Technology Mission Directorate NASA Research Announcement Solicitation that was released on September 11, 2019.

Goddard’s LunaNet architecture is featured within “Topic 1. Lunar Communications and Navigation Network” of the solicitation and the Center is seeking to collaborate with proposers.

LunaNet University Day participants will:
Learn about the LunaNet architecture.
Receive collaborative assistance to map their innovative  solicitation response ideas to the LunaNet Architecture.
Receive a Goddard Subject Matter Expert (SME) partner match for your proposal.
Receive Notice of Intent  (NOI) drafting assistance.

Technical writers and SMEs will be available to assist in drafting NOIs in response to the September solicitation. These NOIs are due to the agency on October 4, 2019. NASA requires University responders to the solicitation have a NASA Center as a partner.

Please bring:
A brief description of your proposed capability or technology and how it would benefit lunar exploration precursor missions or exploration infrastructure.
A determination of whether your idea fills a technology gap or is an enhancement to an existing technology.

In addition to the LunaNet SMEs, Goddard experts in propulsion, electronics and avionics may be available to discuss partnerships in the September solicitation’s topic areas two and three. If interested in these areas, please reach out in advance.
