Welcome! We are excited for your interest in Green Energy Neighbors; developed and administered by a dedicated group of Ann Arbor-area volunteers who aim to inspire in-home climate action on energy efficiency and electrification.

We are developing a cost-free service to connect individuals considering energy efficiency improvements (we call these folks “Learners”) with people in the community who have already made some of these changes and can share their experiences (we call these folks “Mentors”). The Network covers all sorts of energy efficiency and electrification projects, including insulation and weatherization, EV charging, smart home technologies, solar, and renter projects. 

We are seeking potential Learners and Mentors who are interested in joining us to pilot this program:

Mentors: The neighbors with experience with one or more green energy projects and willing to share their experiences with other neighbors.

Learners: The neighbors who are interested in learning more about one or more green energy projects and would like to hear from neighbors with experience.
