Zero Hour is hosting an IN-PERSON(!) rally to demand a reconciliation package that includes bold climate policy aligned with President Biden's Build Back Better agenda. The key demands that we'll focus on are the following:

1. Eliminating fossil fuel subsidies
2. Funding sustainable transportation and transit (i.e. funding high speed rail and electrifying cars, buses and trains)

We are inviting national organizations and organizations local to New York to partner with Zero Hour for the rally, which will take place in New York City at Foley Square in Lower Manhattan.

The in-person rally will begin at 1pm ET on Sunday August 15th. This is a permitted action, and we will not be encouraging arrests. Attendees will be encouraged to wear masks.

In addition to attending the event in-person, we are asking partners to share a livestream of the rally on all of their social media platforms. We are also asking partners to do outreach (via social media and/or email) to their bases, particularly in New York City, ahead of the event.
