RISPCA Summer Camp Junior Counselor VOLUNTEER Application
The Rhode Island SPCA's Humane Education Department is seeking youth volunteers this summer to act as Junior Counselors for our Caring Kids Critter Camp.  The camp runs for 6 weeks starting June 26, 2023 (with the exception of July 4th week).  Each volunteer is required to commit to one full week of camp, Monday-Friday from 9:30-3:30.  You will be working with campers 8-12 years old alongside our Humane Educator.

This is a great opportunity for those looking to add to their resume or to perform required volunteer hours for school. Jr. Volunteers must be a minimum of fifteen years old.  This is an UNPAID position.

At the end of this application, you will be asked which camp weeks you are available.  Please check ALL that you are able to volunteer. Again, this is a commitment for 5 days/week for one week of camp with the possibility of doing multiple weeks.

After submitting an application, you will be contacted by our Humane Educator to discuss and then possibly be asked to come in for an interview.

If chosen, there will be a mandatory training session with our Humane Educator prior to the start of camp.
