Deeply Rooted Summer Dance Intensive Work Study Program

Deeply Rooted Dance Theater’s Summer Dance Intensive Work Study program provides a unique opportunity for young dancers seeking to apply their academic skills and talents, as well as broaden their experience in arts administration. 

The work study program is not a paid position; however, students are provided the discounted tuition rate of $850 to participate within the Deeply Rooted Summer Dance Intensive 4 week Pre-professional program.

Work study students are expected to...

  • Work daily with Deeply Rooted administrative staff ( in-person) for 4 weeks.

  • Work all duties as assigned during the Summer Dance Intensive Culminating performance(s)

  • Participate in two (2) technique classes daily

  • Observe/participate in the repertory rehearsal process at the discretion of the choreographer.

Work study students DO NOT....

  • Perform in the Summer Dance Intensive Culminating Performance

  • Meet/Sell mandatory  ticket(s)  requirement
