Женевська декларація про права людини на морі/Geneva Declaration on Human Rights at Sea 

On June 14, 2023, the Ukrainian Association of International Law in cooperation with the British non-governmental organization Human Rights at Sea (HRAS) holds an international online-briefing on "Geneva Declaration on Human Rights at Sea".

The briefing will be held online in ZOOM.

An introductory legal briefing aimed at understanding why the Geneva Declaration is needed and how it will benefit human rights. We will discuss the issues of international law in the field of human rights at sea, the advantages and disadvantages of the Geneva Declaration on Human Rights at Sea, and the development of international law in the field of human rights at sea in Ukraine.

Speakers at the event will be: David Hammond, CEO of Human Rights at Sea (HRAS); Prof. Irini Papanicolopulu, professor of International Law at SOAS University of London; Prof. Steven Haines, professor of Public International Law in the University of Greenwich; Pereverzeva Olga, PhD, associate professor at KNTEU, senior fellow at Koretsky Institute of State and Law of National Academy of Science of Ukraine.

The international briefing is a platform for sharing the best world experience and innovations, discussing strategically important issues that have arisen in the field of international human rights at sea.
