Greetings and welcome to the Iza Music Academy Studio! It is our goal to make learning music as simple and enjoyable as possible for everyone. Here is some useful information concerning our studio policies.

PLEASE READ COMPLETELY BEFORE YOU AGREE.
CANCELLATION POLICY:

As a reminder to all, regular assistance is the best guarantee for progress with the student. IN THE CASE OF MISSED LESSONS, 48-HOUR IN ADVANCE NOTICE IS REQUIRED TO RECEIVE A MAKE-UP SESSON. WITHOUT 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE, WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE A MAKE-UP. As a courtesy to our teachers, scheduled lessons missed without required notification will not qualify for rescheduling and must be paid for. DUE TO THE SCHEDULE BEING FULL ONLY ONE MAKE-UP LESSON PER TRIMESTER WILL BE ALLOWED. Once every trimester there will be a Master Lesson that will be used for the students that need a make-up lesson or anyone who would like to participate for an extra fee. These classes will be in the form of a group lesson and we will learn about different topics during the year, such as: Music history, Music theory, Music games, etc. The best way to reach us directly is text or voice message via cell phone: 646-326-1147 or email at izamusicacademy@gmail.com.

IN THE CASE THAT A STUDENT IS TAKING SOME EXTENDED TIME OFF CLASSES OR STOPPING LESSONS PERMANENTLY, IT HAS TO BE NOTIFIED TO MRS. JESSICA IZA VIA EMAIL TO izamusicacademy@gmail.com 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE, IN OTHER WORDS, WHEN YOU ARE PAYING FOR THE LAST MONTH OF LESSONS.

Upon arrival at their lesson, students are expected to wash their hands. Then, proceed to take a seat and get all lesson materials, music, etc. ready immediately, so that the lesson may begin promptly on time. If another student is just finishing their lesson, incoming students are expected to wait QUIETLY on the couch and get their lesson materials ready while waiting for their lesson to begin.

Many students ask about how much practice time is enough. Every student should strive to develop the habit of playing their instrument every day. The amount of time spent may vary from student to student, but daily practice is by far the most effective means of making progress and getting the most out of your music lessons. WE RECOMMEND STARTING WITH 15-30 MIUTES EACH DAY and increasing this as a student’s ability grows. Regular attendance is also an important factor.

We are looking forward to having fun and learning with all of you!

All the Best,

Iza Music Academy Team.
