Building Resiliency & Understanding Trauma (2 Hours) - Understanding and defining trauma and different trauma types; Impact of trauma on the brain; Child Traumatic Stress (CTS); Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs); Adverse Community Experiences and Resilience (ACE|R); Resiliency and being trauma-informed.(Spanish upon request). *
Mental Health 101 (1.5 Hours) - Understanding mental health; Understanding mental health vs. mental illness; Mental health spectrum; Stigma reduction; Risk and protective factors; Available resources.(Spanish upon request). *
Self-Care & Wellness (2 Hours) - Understanding how stress affects you (psychological, spiritual, interpersonal and physical impacts); Strategies to help you manage stress and build resiliency; Practicing the different strategies through guided virtual activities; Available resources and how to connect. (Spanish upon request). *
Know the Signs (2 Hours) - Understanding how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, how to find the words to have a direct conversation with someone in crisis and where to find professional help and resources. (Spanish upon request). *

ASIST - (Only available in-person)This two-day Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) workshop will equip participants to respond knowledgeably and competently to persons at risk of suicide. Just as "CPR" skills make physical first aid possible, training in suicide intervention develops the skills used in suicide first aid.(8:30 AM - 4:30 PM) Limited to 30 participants *
SafeTALK - (Only available in-person) This 3 hour training prepares participants to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources.  Most people with thoughts of suicide invite help to stay safe.  Alert helpers know how to identify and work with these opportunities to help protect life.  Powerful videos illustrate both non-alert and alert responses.  Discussion and practice stimulate learning.  Limited to 40 participants. *
Adult Mental Health First Aid (AMHFA) - (Only available In-Person) 8-hour training that introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental illness, builds understanding of their impact, and overviews common supports. This course uses role-playing and simulations to demonstrate how to offer initial help in a mental health crisis. This training is for anyone (18 years or older) who wants to learn how to help an individual who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.      Limited to 30 participants.

Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) - (Only available In-Person8-hour training that introduces participants to unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge. This training is for anyone (18 years or older) who has regular contact with young people ages 12-18.  Limited to 30 participants.
