Call for Presentations: Joint Description and Metadata and Digital Object Section Meeting at SAA 2020
The Description Section and Metadata and Digital Object Section are holding a joint meeting at SAA’s annual meeting in Chicago on Wednesday, August 5th, 2020. Due to the uncertainty regarding the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, we have opted to change the format of our section meeting and extend the deadline for proposals to Sunday, June 7, 2020. We are looking for presenters to deliver 20-minute presentations on a variety of topics related to archival description, metadata, and digital object curation. Understanding the restrictions on travel and the health concerns of our members, we will accept proposals from people who can pre-record their presentation if they cannot attend in-person.
