Shalom is a 2-day, 1 night retreat for Juniors that invites students to explore ways to create "shalom", or peace and wellness, in their lives. It takes place at Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds in Occidental, a beautiful facility nestled away in the redwoods. Students will leave school on Thursday morning and return to school on Friday night. They will miss 2 days of school and co-curricular activities.

Please consider any sports/extra-curricular activities you are/may be a part of. Make sure you think about what commitments you have/will have when choosing your date. Last minute cancellations for retreats cost us money, and more importantly, create a ton of extra work for the student leaders who spend time on personalized details for each group of students on retreat. Please plan ahead!

Retreat dates are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Campus Ministry will do its best to satisfy each student’s needs and preferences. Please turn in this form as soon as possible for the best chance of securing a place on the retreat of your choice.  

Students filling out this form are requesting to register for Shalom. Information and parent consent forms will be provided 3-4 weeks before the students' retreats. At that time, when submitting parent consent forms, students will be asked if they are fully vaccinated. If they are not, they will need to show proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the retreat.
