SongSeeds Bursary Placement: Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the application process for the SongSeeds Bursary Placement, we would love for you to join us on our digital songwriting retreat!
The bursary placements provide support for those between 18 and 35 who have additional affordability issues.
The bursary place is fully funded and entitles the participant to take part in our songwriting retreat at no cost to them. Placements will be considered based on a number of contributing factors (outlined below) and will be awarded to those who intersect most with this eligibility criteria.  Participants are also asked to provide a statement supporting their application.

Eligibility criteria:

Mandatory: Being 18-35 years of age 

Considered factors

Currently receiving (or have parents receiving) state benefits
Currently studying full time in the UK
Currently unemployed

SongSeeds aims to be an inclusive and transparent project. For this reason, you may also apply for the SongSeeds Bursary if you have other circumstances which you feel warrant consideration. These may include, but are not limited to:

·         Experiencing financial hardship
·         Being a parent or carer
·         Experiencing Illness
·         Asylum seekers

SongSeeds provides basic catering for all participants. In order to accommodate most diets, meals are veggie/ vegan with participants invited to bring luxury/additional items at their discretion. 

Please let us know if you have any additional dietary requirements.  
The retreat requires people to share bedrooms. Consideration is taken into putting together rooms, but most will be shared spaces. 
This is due to accommodation restrictions.
