Primary Source Analysis - Correspondence
You should always verify and evaluate the information you find. Just because something is a primary source doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have bias or that the facts shouldn't be verified.
The questions below should start you to think about the purpose/bias of the author of the letter. Does that have any impact on its reliability and how you might use it in your research?
Try to answer as many of the questions as you can. Feel free to leave some questions unanswered or make an educated guess when possible. You are welcome to seek additional information if you think that will help answer the questions.
