Colonel Emma E. Vogel Award Background and Nomination Criteria  

The AMSCA Colonel Emma E. Vogel Award was established in 1997 in honor of the first Chief of the Army Medical Specialist Corps, Colonel Vogel. The Award is presented to an AMSCA member in recognition of exceptional service. Award recipients will be honored during the Biennial Meeting.

Nomination Criteria:

  • Participation: AMSCA members may be nominated based on their participation in the organization, giving generously and willingly of their time. Participation may be as a Board or Committee/Task Force member, although this is not a requirement.
  • Exceptional service: (a) demonstrated by leadership, personal influence, and sustained activity
(b) resulting in a positive impact on the development and growth of the organization
