IYENGAR YOGA
Steeped in tranquility and slow-to-dynamic flow, this class will help you recenter and ground, find your alignment and strength, and discover easeful breathing, flexibility, and joy in movement and challenging poses. Designed for all levels and accommodating of select conditions and injuries (please consult both your doctor and teacher directly). Our particular practice incorporates some principles of Alexander Technique and Tai Chi. Yoga blocks, strap, and towel/ blanket are encouraged and available to borrow at our Cambridge studio.

TEA YOGA (available late spring—mid-fall; in-person only)
Do you enjoy tea… and acrobatics? Join us for both locally foraged and special teas from overseas as we embark on a balancing act: yoga… with a cup of tea! Learn to flow with your tea in hand, embracing its aroma, change in temperature and volume as you inhale and sip between and during poses as part of your practice. Reserve a mug/ tea; or bring your own! An excellent practice for those seeking adventure, rejuvenation outdoors, new smells and tastes, strength, and balance. Spills and laughter deeply encouraged ;-) (Love tea…but not an acrobat? You’re also welcome to sit with us, and meditate :-) while having tea! Feel free to try whatever poses you feel inspired to, whenever courage glows inside!)

RESTORATIVE SESSIONS
Quieting, soothing, tranquil slow-flow sequences strewn with restorative poses, for a restful moment in your day, better sleep, and better health. Incorporates some breathing techniques from our Breath Workshop.

BREATH WORKSHOP
Are you a mouth-breather? Do you huff and puff during workouts, wish you didn't snore, seek ways to improve as a performer, speaker, or athlete, manage stress and anxiety, or simply be at ease? Are you curious how breathing works? You’re not alone; and you've come to a safe space! In this dedicated small group breath workshop, we dive into diverse breath techniques and case studies that address the following: What is breath? How do we breathe, and why? How does our breath affect our daily life and well-being? With each session, you’ll develop new perspectives and a deeper understanding of human (dys)evolution, your own breath, and how you can access better health through simply retraining your breath. Learn techniques that clear the mind, relieve stress and anxiety, energize and focus, expand lung capacity and improve physical performance, and enable better sleep and relaxation. Combined with readings, discussions, practical training, and sessions incorporating breath and yoga, this workshop offers a unique toolkit that will help transform your life.
