Herralinks first month long project!

Our residents doors are bland, boring, and not fun to look at. Herralink wants to change that. Learn about residents (their likes, hobbies, and about their life) and help create decorations to adorn their doors!

We'll host Project: Door Decor every Saturday in May! The goal is to have every residents door decorated by the end of the month! Help us make this a reality. šŸ’š

You'll be receiving service hours for talking with residents! When you arrive to this event, the staff and Herralink executives will be bringing the residents into the dining hall for the tea social. While we set up, sit next to a resident and take a genuine interest in their life. Introduce yourself and ask them to do the same. Ask them whatever question comes to mind like....
  1. What'd you do when you were younger?
  2. Have you seen this movie before?
  3. How was your day today?
If you're finding it's hard to get answers from your resident, then talk about your day! You'll be with other high schoolers, so together, tell them about your life and your interests. Residents enjoy conversations - treat them like you would anyone else!

You're getting service hours for talking with the residents and taking a genuine interest in their life, make this event worth your time and their time!
