While this year has definitely posed some challenges, we still want our students to have the opportunity to participate in our wonderful Adelson Performing Arts Program -- the show must go on!

We have determined a safe way to put on a show while maintaining all COVID protocols. We are producing a Broadway Review styled pre-recorded show.

What exactly is a Broadway Review styled show?

A Broadway Review is a show with a general theme that acts as a motto for a related series of acts that alternate between solo and group songs and dances.

We will pick songs tailored to suit our performers and take into account the participants' ages, talents and skills level, and the number of participants in each cohort (classroom). Rehearsals and recordings will be done during the school day and will be coordinated with the homeroom teachers. Some rehearsals may be during recess and some during the carline (3:00-3:30pm). Once determined the student(s) are ready then they will be filmed and complete their part.

This year we will not charge for participating in the show. We are asking for the families’ support with providing the costumes. Costume components will be communicated once the parts will be assigned.
