The Calgary Korean Youth Council (캘거리 한인 청소년 협의회) is a youth council composed of high school to university students in Calgary. With the main objective being "Koreans Helping Koreans", the youth council is focused on helping other Korean youth within the city. Some of its work will include finding useful information to share with other youth, providing awards to recognizable Korean youth, mentorship programs, and helping new Korean immigrants in Calgary. The main goal of the council is to foster a stronger sense of Korean-Canadian identity for youth. We are currently recruiting members to join our Youth Council. If you are a passionate youth interested in serving the needs of our community, we would love to have you join our team.

캘거리 한인 청소년 협의회는 한국 고등학생부터 대학생까지 참여할수있는 단체입니다. "한국인을 이끌어가는 한국인"이라는 목표를 가지고 서로 도와가는 한국 사회를 만들고 싶어 시작한 단체입니다. 청소년들에게 도움이 되는 정보공유, 우수한 한국 청소년들을 위한 상, 사회에 나가있는 캘거리 한인 인재들의 멘토링 그리고 이민이나 유학을 온 다른 학생들을 위한 프로그램 등등을 통해 어떻게 하면 다른 한국 청소년들에게 더 많은 기회와 소속감을 심어줄수 있는지에 대해 토론하고 기획하는 단체입니다. 어린나이부터 Korean-Canadian으로 살아온 친구들에게 한국인으로써의 정체성를 심어주고, 한국인이 다른 한국인을 도우면서 사는 사회를 만들어 나가는것은 정말 중요한 일이라고 생각합니다. 이런 뜻깊은 일에 참여할 청소년들을 찾아요. 경험과 상관없이 한인사회에 도움을 주고 싶은 한국인 청소년들을 위한 기회입니다.
