The Leadership Engagement Dialogues (LED) are a platform developed with the intention to facilitate a thinking beyond the surface about the future of South Africa. It is a space to interrogate broad social phenomena. The platform holds no predetermined answers, but it is to ignite critical engagement that will hopefully lead to a resurgence/amplification of a culture of debate, intellectual exuberance and dialogue on the UWC campus - beyond the strictures of lecture theaters and Webinars/seminar rooms.

This year we are joined by an emerging intellectual and theorist, Dr. Lwando Scott; speaking on heritage in South Africa, with a talk titled: "Heritages-to-come: Monuments to the marginalised"
