We are thrilled to be able to offer Brush Arbor turkeys again this year. As you know, it's one of our very most favorite offerings.
The turkeys are growing beautifully thus far in this warm fall air, eating their lactofermented non-GMO feeds, prepared fresh daily. They're getting ready to make their journey across the canyon meadow where they'll finish under the oaks, foraging and grazing native grasses.
Turkey pick-up dates will be announced as we draw nearer to Thanksgiving, and have a better idea of the optimal time for harvest. It's our priority to deliver the most ideally finished bird to your family table, so we daily evaluate the birds for growth, weight, subcutaneous fat content, etc., and curate our harvest dates around those parameters.
Turkeys are processed and packaged on-farm by your farmers, and picked up on-farm as well. Average weights are 16-22 pounds, with a few landing outside this range on either end. While we try to accommodate size preferences upon pick-up, we do raise our animals in nature and cannot guarantee final weights.
Turkeys are $6.50/pound, with $50 deposit to reserve (subtracted from final price upon pick-up).
Once your order is received, we will send an electronic invoice for your deposit. Reservations are complete once deposit is made. First come, first served.
