I am writing an assignment on how waste produced by copiers/digital presses, specifically waste toner and developer.

This survey primarily focuses on the waste generated by office-grade copiers and digital production presses used by e.g. commercial printers, including both B&W and color machines.

I would appreciate if you could spare a few minutes of your time to answer a handful of questions on how you or your company manages such waste.

I have set all available settings to not collect any data from the respondents, so you can fill out this form anonymously, without giving any personal information, such as name, surname, email address, etc.

We use the services of a local waste management company that is licensed to handle such waste

We empty the contents of the container in the residential trash bin, then reuse the container if possible

We throw the container as-is in the residential trash bin

Why do you dispose of such waste by throwing it in the residential trash bin? *

Because it is convient or easier than any other availiable method of disposal

Because there isn't a viable alternative right now

Because disposing otherwise would incur a cost

This question isn't applicable to me/I dispose of such waste either by returning it to the manufacturer or I use the services of a waste management company

Finally, when a copier or a digital production press reaches the end of its useful lifetime, how is the machine disposed of? *

It is sent back to the manufacturer for final disposal
