Registration - Isle of Wight (Green & Blue)
Date: Sunday 5th May

🏝️🚌🚢 You asked for the Isle of Wight Chasers… and so we serve you your wonderful Isle of Wight (Green & Blue) day trip!

It promises a party bus, a party boat and a party Island in one single cycling EPIC! I’m proper excited about it.

We plan to join 3000 other cyclists on the famous Isle of Wight Randonee. You can find details here  -https://www.cycleisland.co.uk/

💰The total cost for this epic day trip is £70 per head. Here’s what you get for that:

  • Return party bus to/from London with bike transport £50 per head (this may reduce subject to numbers and negotiation, see below)
  • Return party boat £20 per head
  • No faff, bags of type 1 fun and epic memories.

👨🏻‍✈️ The Recommended Plan

Party Bus (Outbound)🚌

  • Depart London in a large hired coach @7:15am on Sun 5th May
  • Bikes will be transported to the Island separately, with drop off in Balham available on Sat 4th May.
  • Arrive in Portsmouth Harbour @09:15am

Party Boat (Outbound) 🚢

  • Ferry for Chasers is @10:00-10:45 (check-in from 09:30)
  • Bikes will be on the Island from 10:05

Party Island🏝️

  • Group photo and grand depart @11:00am
  • Cycle to your hearts content with a choice of 55-105-160km beautifully scenic and smooth routes with plenty of cake stops… just need to be back at Fishbourne with your bike @17:00 latest.
  • Official routes are found here - https://www.cycleisland.co.uk/randonnee/route-overview
  • Drinks and food venue will be booked in the Fishbourne area @15:00 onwards

Party Boat (Return)🚢

  • Return ferry for both van and Chasers will be @18:20-19:05.

Party Bus (Outbound)🚌

  • Departs Portsmouth @19:15, arriving in Balham for @21:00
  • Bikes to be picked up at the drop off point!

Other (un-official) options

You can opt to meet us on the Isle for the start @11:00. This is completely at your own risk of missing the group.

Trains from London on Sunday 5th May make it virtually impossible to arrive before 11am, yet I know some of us are thinking of braving the 105km cycle to Portsmouth (this will cost £20 for the return Ferry, £20 train trip home and missing out on the party bus!).

Should you not want to wait to go home then we can organise for an earlier Ferry for you and you can travel back on your own arrangements.
