Artwork must be original and done freehand (no traced, trademarked, or copyrighted imagery) or characters

Artwork must be free of inappropriate imagery such as violence, racial insensitivity, political messaging, nudity.

A deposit of $5 must be paid at time of art kit pickup. The deposit will be fully refunded when the art kit is returned.

Only tempera paints supplied by WLACAC may be used on window surfaces. No other materials such as glue or glitter may be used.

Contestants' painting must stay within the taped area provided.

Contestants must display their assigned number in the lower corner of the taped window space in order to participate in the judging

Contestants must use newspaper or drop cloths to protect business floors and surfaces and are responsible for ensuring that the work area is protected from drips and spills and that the window is thoroughly cleaned at the completion of the contest.

Children under the age of 12 may only participate as part of a family group and must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Other than paint and basic brushes, contestants must supply their own water and paint mixing containers, drop cloths and cleaning rags, step stool, and specialty brushes.
