KRA 2019/2020 Season Awards Nominations
Use this form to declare your nominations for the annual awards given by Kingston Ringette.

Be sure to read each category prior to submitting your nominations. You need to provide a statement as to why you believe the person you are nominating for the award should be chosen.

You must be a member (or 2019/2020 season member) of the Kingston Ringette Association in order for your nomination to be counted.

The annual awards banquet will be hosted virtually on Sunday, December 13th at 2pm.

ROBIN McHARDY AWARD:
Named in honour of a coach who dedicated years of service to the KRA at every level, even as he battled against cancer. It may be awarded annually to a member of the KRA bench staff (Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Trainer, Manager) at any level who has demonstrated a commitment to player development within the association.
EMME GWALCHMAI MEMORIAL SPIRIT AWARD:
Named in honour of a little girl who showed determination alongside a happy spirit as she battled against cancer and in recognition of a family that has given much of themselves to the Kingston Ringette Association. It may be awarded annually to a KRA player from any level who has demonstrated a positive spirit, determined effort, and true leadership during the 2019/2020 season.
HANES FAMILY AWARD:
Named for a family that worked tirelessly to promote and support the Kingston Ringette Association. May be awarded annually to a player from the Belle (U19) level who has contributed substantially to the development and growth of the Kingston Ringette Association during the 2019/2020 season.
LONGFIELD FAMILY AWARD:
Named for a family that worked tirelessly to promote and support the Kingston Ringette Association. May be awarded annually to a player from the Open (18+) level who has contributed substantially to the development and growth of the Kingston Ringette Association during the 2019/2020 season and contributed in significant ways during past seasons.
DAVID BETTSCHEN AWARD:
Named in honour of a long-time KRA member who donated his time while holding many positions within the association over the years. May be awarded annually to recognize  a volunteer who has given significant time and effort to support ringette in Kingston.
COACHES ONLY: Team Awards
Only complete if you were a coach during the 2019/2020 season:  Coaches please indicate 3 players who should receive recognition for their positive contribution to your team.
