Baldwin Hills Greenhouse Program New Student Application, 2024-2025
The Baldwin Hills Greenhouse Program is looking for highly motivated students with a wide range of academic interests to participate in the Restoration Leaders Program and the Greenhouse Internship Program. The most important qualities that strong applicants will possess are responsibility, curiosity, kindness, and the ability to follow through to a project’s completion. Students accepted to the program receive a stipend or community service hours for their participation in the program.

In order to apply to the program, you will need to complete the application form below. The preferred deadline to apply is July 19th, 2024. After reviewing applications, program staff may contact you for a follow-up interview during the summer. Final decisions about program acceptance will be announced in August prior to the start of the school year.

IMPORTANT: Due to the place-based nature of the Greenhouse Program, we prioritize acceptance of students attending schools in close geographic proximity to Baldwin Hills Parklands. We are developing an alternative program that may be a better fit for students who attend schools distant from the Greenhouse Program's physical site. Upon reviewing your application, we may suggest this option to you.
