Group for Religious Trauma
Group information:
The purpose of this group is to create a safe space that allows people to process religious trauma, defined as psychological harm caused by religious messages, beliefs, and experiences. This group is especially suited for those who have been involved in Evangelical Christianity.

This will be a closed group (the same people throughout) of up to seven people to discuss harmful experiences within Christianity. We will cover many topics such as identity, purity culture, and healing experiences. This group is first come, first served as space is limited.

Logistics:
Group will be held Wednesday evenings, 6:00-7:30pm for ten consecutive weeks beginning 9/13/23. Groups will be in-person at A Tree Planted Counseling - 422 Elm Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24016
