2024 Advocacy Day Scholarship Application
Please complete the following questions to apply for a Lobby Day Scholarship. All applications will be reviewed anonymously by a committee of CDANY representatives and scored by a common set of standards.

Advocacy Day is Monday, February 12, 2024. Please arrive by 10:00 AM to the Well of the Legislative Office Building, located at 198 State Street, Albany NY, 12210.

Scholarships include $15 per person (consumer, PA) for lunch and reimbursement of travel expenses to be paid after Lobby Day. Scholarship recipients must submit a reimbursement form and include mileage, tolls and receipts.

Please notify CDANY if you will need help finding an accessible hotel room and/or other reasonable accommodation.

In order to qualify for a scholarship, you must be a CDPA consumer or designated representative with a CDANY Provider Member fiscal intermediary, or be an individual member of CDANY. For a list of member FIs, visit: https://cdpaanys.org/provider-members/ 

Employees of fiscal intermediaries and/or CDANY, CDPAANYS, and members of either organization's Board of Directors are not eligible for scholarships.

You must also be transporting yourself to Albany by public transit or your own vehicle. Due to budget limitations, we cannot cover costs of rental vans or chartered buses.

Those awarded scholarships may receive partial awards. This decision will be based on the number and quality of applications received, geographic diversity of applicants, etc. Depending on the number of scholarship requests, some people who request a scholarship may not receive one. CDANY will make a reasonable effort to accommodate special requests but cannot guarantee full scholarships.

CDANY reserves the right to award scholarships in a manner that diversifies the recipient pool based on geography, fiscal intermediary provider, and/or other factors at our sole discretion.
