ZAA is now accepting abstract submissions for presentations and poster sessions at the 2024 ZAA Annual Conference, September 30-October 3 in Columbus, OH.

Selected papers and posters should focus on techniques, achievements, or innovative approaches to animal care, husbandry, welfare, conservation, training, education, or research. Topics may also include business operations including management, marketing, volunteer programming, emergency preparedness, and so on.

In addition to general content, we are seeking abstracts that pertain to specific committees' subject matter. We are especially seeking updates regarding Education Trends, PR/Marketing Strategies, Animal Training, Animal Welfare and Husbandry, and Legislative Issues. We look forward to showcasing some of our committee members and their areas of passion and expertise.

Multi-speaker presentations and panels are limited to three speakers.

If you are selected as a presenter, you will receive a reduced speaker registration rate for the conference.

Abstracts for workshops will not be accepted for the Annual Conference, but will be accepted at a later date for the 2025 Mid-Year Working Meeting.

Abstract Submission Deadline: July 1, 2024 (11:59pm EST)
Authors will be notified regarding acceptance no later than August 1, 2024.
