Equality in Sport Collaborative (EiSC) Volunteer Application Form
Are you passionate about equality, diversity and equal opportunity in global sport?
We are looking for a short to medium term volunteer to assist equitysport on an exciting new programme to create a space to support and facilitate the cohesive and collaborative development of the growing global equality in sport movement.
You will work with our staff, volunteers, and partners around the world to help us provide a useful space within global sport to share, support and unite individuals, groups and organisations around shared values, purpose and experiences.

WHERE
This role is to be completed online and so we welcome applications from anywhere in the world.

TIME COMMITMENT
It’s envisaged that this role will initially be for a fixed term of 3 months and will require between 0.5 and 1 days work per week (flexible / spread across 5-7 days if required).
The successful candidate will be able to manage their workload through good project management skills - seeking additional internal support when required and providing feedback to senior management when things aren’t working or need improving.
Please note: equitysport is currently a 100% voluntary organisation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Research - assist the team in gathering and organising background / contextual information relevant to the programme.
Outreach - assist the team in reaching out, recruiting and stewarding individuals, groups and organisations around the world to advance the programme.
Organising - assist with the organisation of offline and online events, meetings and workshops to advance the programme.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Experience or skills in online research
Ability to connect with people from a wide variety of backgrounds
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English
Social media savvy
Passionate about equality, diversity and equal opportunity issues in and out of sport.
Enthusiastic about advancing the mission and vision of equitysport
