We'll be working during the course of the weekend with intention setting as part of ritual practice, and I consider it to be perhaps to most potent piece of the sex magic puzzle. What are your current intentions for attending the workshop? What do you hope to get out of the weekend, and what do you imagine you'll bring to it? *
Relationship is at the heart of this work. When it comes to the practice of Radical Self Love, relationship with the self - particularly those aspects of ourselves that our wider culture or individual histories have taught us to disown, dismiss, even discard - forms a focal point of what we do. This can make for moving and sometimes challenging encounters with our emotional, embodied, or erotic selves. Do you feel willing to step up and meet yourself with kindness and curiosity, to cultivate friendship even with aspects of yourself you struggle with? What previous experience, if any, do you have of this kind of personal development/conscious sexuality work? *
This work is grounded in certain fundamental values. Radical Self Love is one of these, and Consent and Diversity are two of the others. Part of our work over the weekend will be to establish lines of communication with ourselves that allow us to find and express our boundaries and edges, as well as our desires and vision. We will also likely be a diverse group, particularly in terms of gender and orientation, and will need to cultivate a collective awareness of and respect for each other's identities and experiences. What awareness or previous experience do you have of giving and receiving active and enthusiastic consent? *
Have you previously spent time in spaces or groups with people of different genders, orientations, bodies, and backgrounds to you, and do you feel able to be engaged, open, and respectful in those environments? *
Do you have any dietary, access, or other needs we should be aware of in advance of the workshop?
Do you wish to apply for one of our limited bursary spaces? Priority for these will be given to members of the LGBTQ+ and POC communities on low income, and to those campaigning full time on behalf of our planet. *
