This form is for submitting proposals for the program content of the
Penn State SETI Symposium, June 19-22 2023. Registration information and fees will be collected separately. Submissions for breakout sessions and talks are now closed. Poster submissions will be accepted until June 4.
The symposium welcomes abstracts on a variety of topics. While the symposium is especially interested in new search results, we also welcome abstracts on:
-putting current efforts in a historical context
-interfaces with the social sciences
-the funding and cultural landscape of SETI
-curricular and academic dimensions of the field
-job and internship opportunities
Registrants are welcome to submit multiple abstracts, although if poster space becomes an issue the SOC may need to limit attendees to one science poster each. You may submit this form multiple times for different proposals/abstracts.
