What is the Music on the Main Stage Workshop?

This two week program will take place at the Phoenicia Playhouse, and will provide one final performance entirely of the students making. This is an incredible opportunity to work hands-on with local and world renowned musicians, music producers, musical theater performers, songwriters. The workshop will allow space for the young participants to create a performance or musical work live for the stage.

Over the course each student will have the opportunity to create a solo or group piece - their focus can consist of songwriting, musical theater, instrumental performance, vocal performance, theatrical performance, or backstage/production management. Truly a project of their own making. Their goal will be to put together a one-of-a-kind variety show by the end of the two weeks.

WORKSHOP DATES: 

Week 1: August 7th - 11th

Week 2: August 14th - 19th

Monday - Friday: 9am - 3pm

Performance: 

Saturday, August 19th @ 1pm

*Participants need to be onsite at 12pm
