GIFTS Conference In-person Registration
Registration closed on Thursday, November 18. Please contact us if you have questions (jweber@hkis.edu.hk).
On November 20th from 9am-4pm, HKIS invites employees, parents, students, alumni, and other members of the community to the Repulse Bay campus for the inaugural GIFTS Conference.
Employees/Board members, students, and presenters/booths are invited to attend for free. We will be asking for HK$250 (non-refundable) of everyone else to help off-set expenses and to fund future growth of this conference. Lunch will be provided.
We plan to offer limited Zoom access based on interest, volunteer availability, and presenters' choice. If interested, please register here (https://forms.gle/qvP4SiKmKYFymich9) and we will keep you updated as we get closer to the event.
PLEASE NOTE:
● *** All in-person participants will need to show their COVID-19 vaccination record. If you need an exemption, please register with the HOS office (dolau@hkis.edu.hk) ASAP. ***
● In order to provide for maximum transparency regarding COVID regulations, we will be maintaining HKIS’ directives. As such:
— Please wear a mask and maintain social distancing at all times.
— Please use the hand sanitizer liberally.
— We will not be offering snacks or beverages between sessions as eating and activity spaces must be kept separate. You are, of course, welcome and encouraged to have a water bottle with you!
— You are welcome to bring your own snacks, just please be sure to eat in the outdoor spaces, properly socially distanced.
— Lunch will be served in the UP Cafeteria, a space that we are not otherwise using. Again, this keeps the eating and conference spaces completely separate.
● Once registered, if you are not an HKIS Employee, Student, or Board Member, expect an email from HKIS Security with instructions to expedite your on-campus visitor credentials for the day.
● Also expect a follow up email with instructions to cover the $250 non-refundable registration fee for attendees who are not HKIS Employees/Board members, students, and presenters/booths.
