2021-2022 Cascade Middle School  - 7th Grade Elective Class Selection
Dear 6th graders and Families,

The staff at Cascade is so excited for you to be joining us next year and we are busy preparing for you to be a middle school student in the fall. Usually, we would have orientation nights in the spring for you to come to visit the middle school, learn about the different elective options, and choose your elective. Since we can't do that in person, we still need to know what elective you would like to take when you get to middle school. By filling out this form, you are letting us know your preference, but we can't guarantee that you will get your first choice.

What is an elective? An elective class is one of your classes that is not part of the "core". You get to let us know which elective class you would like to take.

All students will take the following classes:
1) Math
2) English
3) Social Studies
4) Science
5) Wellness (Health and PE)
6) Elective

Please complete the following form to let us know which elective would be the best fit for you.

ACCESS - This class is designed for students who are on Individual Education Plans and require extra time during the school day to meet the goals outlined in their IEP. Placement in this class will be determined by an IEP team. If you have questions about if you/your student should be in ACCESS, please contact their current IEP case manager. If you are unsure if your student should be in access, please select a different elective and know that their elective might change when their case manager helps the middle school team create their schedule.
