Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: Our maintenance team takes pride and initiative in their challenging work to ensure the grounds and facilities are well-maintained, landscaping is manicured, and preventative maintenance responsibilities are completed with speed and efficiency. Our technicians are skilled in a variety of areas including plumbing, groundskeeping, carpentry, and electrical maintenance. Duties include property upkeep, building inspections, responding to work orders, inventory, and scheduling repairs and preventative maintenance. We are a growing company and expanding our current property, so flexibility is necessary, as you will be responsible for maintaining and working on all property and all guest units and areas. From the moment a guest arrives on our property, they should look around at the grounds and accommodations and say “Wow! Everything is perfect!”

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performing general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing furniture & light fixtures, painting, landscaping, and repairing doors or other building fixtures.

• Performing routine maintenance and preventative maintenance. Everything must function and meet luxury standards for appearance.

• Working well with other departments, the owners, and the entire team. 
  

• Cleaning and assisting with upkeep of the facilities, guest units, and overall property.

• Periodic inventory of supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.

• Performing other related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Leader.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and navigate crawl spaces. Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds at a time.

Compensation: $15.00 - 20.00+ per hour based on experience (W2 Employee). Growth opportunities! Performance-based title and pay raises awarded to top performers. Schedule: We operate much like the hard-working farm our founder, Seth Bolt, was raised on. We wake up early & excited to do meaningful work, we don’t stop working until the job is done, and we feel a great sense of pride at the end of each day for accomplishing everything we set out to do. Up to 40 hours per week. Schedule varies based on needs. Potential on-call for emergency repairs outside of normal schedule hours, including weekends. Additional hours possible for special projects as needed. 

Qualifications: We value work ethic, servant leadership, growth mindset, and past results significantly more than your degree (or lack thereof), GPA, etc. Have you delivered quantifiable results in a similar role in the past? If so, that’s what we’re looking for. This opportunity is available for a proven leader with a positive “whatever it takes” attitude with a track record of driving & delivering impressive results.

• Ability to carefully follow instructions and communicate clearly with your Maintenance Leader and General Manager. You must be coachable and growth-minded.
