AD MAD

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

1.     The topics for the AD MAD show will be given on the spot.

2.     Maximum time limit for performing the ad in 5 minutes.

3.     The criteria for assessment includes content, spontaneity and adherence to the topic,  co-ordination, appeal for advertisement, humour and performance on the stage.

4.     One team should contain 3 to 5 members.

5.     There should be no exposure to biasness against any caste or community or religion through your performance.

6.     Use of vulgar expressions and language will lead to disqualification of the team.

ROUND 2: AD ACT

ROUND 3: BRAND RACE

JUDGING CRITERIA:

·        Ability to attract audience’s attention

·        Concept of AD

·        Team work

·        Voice modulation

·        Ability to highlight idea of product with minimum efforts

                            (2 per team)

NO OF ROUNDS: 3

NO OF TEAMS SELECTED FOR FINAL: 6

·        Tie breaker round should be conducted if two teams are in same level.

·        Top 6 teams will be selected for Round 2.

ROUND 1:

            Each slide will be displayed for 30 seconds only. After completing all the questions once again the questions will be repeated.

ROUND 2:

            Questions will be displayed on the screen, whoever founds the answer first is supposed to press the buzzer and justify the answer.

ROUND 3:

            Startup company and their related information will be shuffled and the one who found first will be declared as a winner.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

·        Projector.

·        Bowls.

·        Chart.

·        Balloon.

·        Paper and pen for contestants.

One copy of Resume to be brought along with participant  
Case Study
  The case should be prepared in the form of a presentation (.ppt), sent in PDF format and should be of maximum 8 slides. The slides should include the following: Statement of business problem,  How the problem is addressed  Data sources, Methodology o Results and conclusion , Recommendations  No personal details such as team member names, team name, mobile number or email id shall be provided anywhere except on the first slide. Case analysis shall be judged on the basis of clear understanding of the problem, innovative and feasible solution, approach and methodology, conclusion and recommendation and overall presentation.  Each team shall be given 10 minutes for case presentation, followed by 5 minutes for cross-questioning by the judges.  The college reserves the right to disqualify any team that violates the rules/guidelines or act/s in an unprofessional manner.  Under all circumstances, the decision of the expert committee shall be final.
