OAKMONT HS: Independent Study Short Term Request

Short Term Independent Study is used for students who are out a minimum of three school days to a maximum of three weeks of school (15 school days). Requests for Independent Study must be made at least five days prior to the beginning of the agreement period with the exception of students participating due to illness.

Please remember the following:
This is NOT a replacement for Home Hospital.
Students who are on an IEP are not eligible for this unless it is specifically written into the IEP.
Students who are on a suspension are not eligible for this contract.
