Due to the evolving situation with COVID-19 and UFV’s alignment with BC Ministry of Health recommendations, the UFV Research Office is adapting Student Research Day to a DIGITAL/ONLINE FORMAT so students may display their research posters safely and remotely. We will no longer hold a physical gathering in Evered Hall on Tuesday, March 31. Judging and scoring will take place entirely online.
HOW IT WILL WORK:
Student research posters will be displayed on the UFV Research Office website beginning Tuesday, March 31 at noon. Judges will have a 5-hour window (between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., as their schedule allows) to review a manageable number of posters (i.e., 1-6) and submit an online score card. We will calculate the results and announce the winning posters Friday, April 3 via email and the Research Office website. Winners will receive a $500 prize!
* UFV Faculty with research experience preferred.
* Judges will receive more detailed instructions prior to the event.
* We are in need of more judges from Faculty of Science, Faculty of Applied and Technical Studies, and Faculty of Health Sciences.
