*POF 2024: Intro to the Path of Freedom Application

We will be running the six week Intro to the Path of Freedom two times in 2024 (March & October). 

 Please complete this application if you care to join one of these sessions!

Prerequisite:  Mindfulness-awareness meditation practices are foundational to this program, therefore all applicants must have at least three-year established mindfulness-awareness meditation practice.

If you don't fully meet this requirement, please fill out the application in full, and we will contact you to discuss your options for completing the POF. For more info write to: community@prisonmindfulness.org

TECH REQUIREMENTS:

~ We do not allow this course to be done on public computers.

~This course is not built to be completed on smartphones. You will need either a tablet or a computer to complete most of the assignments and quizzes in this course.

Prison Mindfulness Institute is an approved continuing education provider with the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) and the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). Completion of the entire POF online course, plus payment of a $25 fee, earns 12 CE clock hours. Are you a certified social worker or counselor interested in completing this program for CE credit? *
Prison Mindfulness Institute (dba Engaged Mindfulness Institute), #1402, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Prison Mindfulness Institute maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 7/15/2017 – 7/15/2020. Social workers completing this course receive 12 clinical continuing education credits.

Cancellation Policy
Enrollment fees are nonrefundable if a registration is cancelled by the participant within two weeks (14 days) of the start date of the course. Registrations can be transferred to another individual or a future course (within a one year limit). If a registration is canceled by the participant more than two weeks (14 days) prior to the start date, course fees are refundable, minus a $25 cancellation fee. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the course is canceled by the Prison Mindfulness Institute, registrants will receive full credits or refunds of the paid registration fees. All refunds will be processed within 30 days following the end of the course.
