Conducting On-Site Vaccination Drives for Community Animals with Dr. Nilesh Bhanage

We are extremely thrilled to have Dr. Nilesh Bhanage conduct this next webinar for all of us.

Dr. Nilesh Bhanage is the founder trustee of Plant & Animals Welfare Society (PAWS), a well-known NGO established in Thane District to protect wildlife and provide medical help to distressed street animals.
Dr. Nilesh started animal welfare work at the early age of 18 and comes with many accolades attached to him, including the ‘Hero to Animals’ Award from Ms. Ingrid Newkirk (President of PETA), to name a few.

PAWS has set up Thane district’s largest animal hospital and its first ambulance service for animals in Kalyan-Dombivli areas.
Today, more than 2000 animals are rescued yearly, including reptiles, birds, and wild animals.
The team has also been very successful in organizing yearly anti-rabies vaccination camps which covers over 1800 street dogs in Thane and Mumbai.
