This scholarship is available to any MKMEA members (OAKE members who have chosen a chapter in the Midwest division when completing membership application) who are currently employed as a teacher. The scholarship will cover the
cost of conference registration and
noon luncheon for one Kodály-trained teacher from each region of MKMEA, with 2 total scholarships awarded for the MKMEA Division Conference. (Note: Travel Expenses, lodging, meals, etc. are NOT included, and will still be at the expense of the recipient.)
It is expected that scholarship recipient will:- attend sessions during all session time slots including the Opening and Closing Sessions
- attend the noon luncheon/business meeting
In addition, following the conference, recipients are requested to:
- write a short reflection for printing in the MKMEA Bulletin.
THIS FORM IS DUE NO LATER THAN AUGUST 31, 2024. Scholarship recipients will be notified by September 15, 2024.
