THE HONORABLE MICHAEL D. TUBBS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The Michael D. Tubbs College Scholarship is named after BYLP alum and current Mayor of the City of Stockton The Honorable Michael D. Tubbs. This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student to assist with the costs of higher education.  Scholarship candidates must be matriculating into a College, Trade School or another Institution of Higher Learning and be able to furnish written proof of acceptance.

To be eligible for selection, candidates must:

*Be a US citizen
*Be Black/African American
*Be a US citizen
*Excel academically
*Exhibit exceptional leadership potential
*Have significant unmet financial need
*Must participate in community service activities (service log required)
*Be a current high school senior at the time of your application
*Have verifiable proof of acceptance to an College/Trade School or Institution of Higher Learning

The deadline to submit the scholarship application is April 18, 2020.
Only complete applications will be considered.

Scholarship Application Timeline:
Saturday, February 15, 2020 – Applications available
Saturday, April 18, 2020 – Application deadline
Sunday, May 17, 2020 – Scholarship awarded  (applicants must be registered and present at the Black Graduation Celebration)
