We are excited about the opportunity to serve with you! We update the following application as needed to reflect the current service opportunities at Mercy Mall.  Please feel free to check back frequently for newer updates!

You will have the opportunity to select an area, date and time for your serving with us.  We know that life can change and what you think you can do today can change tomorrow! That's okay!  We work with many schedules and would be willing to work with you!

At this time we do not have any EVENING or WEEKEND serving opportunities!

You may see each department is separated below but that doesn't mean you won't need to help in other areas as needs change each day!  FLEXIBILITY is key to serving at Mercy Mall.  You may need to help pack a clothing order and then go hang up a rack of new clothes!  You may even get to run a clients order to their car in our curbside pickup!!  That is a FUN spot to help...you get to pray with them and its a blessing to see the happy faces that God has helped through you!

Don't see an area or time that works for you?  That's okay; check back often as we add opportunities!  Remember that YOU can Host a Drive to volunteer with us as well! Receiving  Department Volunteer Positions: In this area you may help with receiving donations, sorting donations, stocking the boutique floor and various departments.  You will need to be able to lift, bend, climb ladders, and carry items.   We work from 9-3 but have the time broken into smaller shifts.  Please select which shift would work for you.  We know this can change!  This is just your best estimate.
Cases of Hope Packing Team: this area is managed by Victoria McCormick and she will contact you directly.

Delivery Team:  Help take orders to clients that do not have transportation.  This is an awesome way to serve as a family or a group!   You pick up from the building at your convenience and take the items to the client(s).  You are such a blessing to the people who do not have transportation!

Client Fulfillment Positions:  This group helps pack orders for the individuals and families that we serve!  You will be helping with packing clothing orders, baby equipment or in the housewares department.  You may also have the opportunity to take orders out in our curbside pickup area.

Lobby Team: We have added an opportunity to serve in the building!!  We have transformed the front lobby into an additional shopping area for clients. You will help them pick out treasures from our GOOD360 products, make them a cup of coffee and offer a warm hug and smile!  We are looking for seasoned/sensitive Christians who can pray out loud and can encourage someone experiences hardship.  You are the FACE of Mercy Mall to the people we serve so SMILES, KINDNESS, COMPASSION and SENSITIVITY are key!  This area serves Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 11:30-2! Do you feel called or led to serve here? *
Besides vacations and other appointments, are you able to make a weekly commitment to serving at Mercy Mall?   We understand that this can be difficult to say....but we appreciate your ability to give us one day a week on a weekly basis.   *
Serving at Mercy Mall can be very physical; are you able to stand/walk, climb ladders, lift and carry, bend and squat? *
Box Truck Team!  We have a great opportunity for those who want to work as a team or are able to help unload a truck!  We are looking for men and women that are comfortable driving a box truck.  We pick up and deliver items weekly!  You will need to send your driver's license in if you are interested and will be on our insurance.  If you can not drive but can ride....there's room for you too!  Can't ride or drive... you can meet them back at Mercy Mall and help unload!  So much opportunity!

How did you hear about our Volunteer opportunities?
Can you elaborate regarding how you heard about the opportunity? If you said your friend... who is it? What church... etc.  It's great for us to hear how far and wide people are finding out about serving at Mercy Mall!
Do you need court ordered community service?
If you said yes, please provide the reason or the nature of the offense for the ordered community service.  And the # of hours needed.  There will be some types of offenses that we will not be able to accommodate.
