Dear Data Management Professionals,

The following survey is conducted by the Competence Center Corporate Data Quality (CC CDQ) to assess the role and future potential of machine learning (ML) in data management. To identify areas in which ML can be used to support data management and improve data quality, we analyzed 42 ML use cases  (published in scientific literature, by tool providers or companies). The bottom line of this analysis is: ML has the potential to significantly enhance data management practices.

In this survey, we ask you to evaluate ML techniques supporting four data management activities:
1. Acquire and create
2. Unify and maintain
3. Protect and retire
4. Discover and use

The survey will take 10 minutes.
